A park home is for full residential use and can be used as a main, permanent UK address. Residents are protected for security of tenure by the Mobile Homes Act (1983). The property must comply with BS 3632 residential standard so that it can be used all year round, whereas a holiday home is for holiday use for approximately 10 months of the year depending on the parks site license and complies with EN1647.
